RETAIL TECHNOLOGY SERVICES MANAGER

POSITION: Full Time
SALARY RANGE: $27/hr-$34 DOE

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Retail Technology Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the retail experience for our partners by delivering exceptional technical support and helping them harness the full potential of our innovative solutions. You will be the primary point of contact for retailers, providing support for our suite of services, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring seamless system integrations. This role requires a blend of technical fluency, problem-solving abilities, and excellent customer relationship skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Retailer Relationship & Store Support: Serve as a primary support contact for retailers, assisting them with technology solutions, troubleshooting issues, and maximizing the benefits of Parable’s services. 

  • POS & Data Management: Manage technical integrations for Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, ensuring accurate and reliable data connections; Monitor and maintain data quality to optimize reporting and insights. 

  • Service Support & Technical Assistance: Provide guidance and troubleshooting for Parable’s key services, including: Retail websites, email marketing campaigns, direct mailings, ParableConnect (our retail data platform)

  • Technology Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to store integrations, data transmissions, and system performance, working closely with vendors and internal teams. 

  • Collaboration & Process Improvement: Work cross-functionally with internal teams to improve service offerings and develop solutions that enhance retailer experience; Advocate for retailer needs during cross-departmental initiatives. 

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS  

  • Service-Oriented Mindset: A strong background in customer service and technical support, ensuring a positive experience for our retail partners. 

  • Technical Fluency: Comfortable navigating web-based platforms, troubleshooting software integrations, and understanding retail technology solutions. 

  • Problem-Solving Ability: Skilled in diagnosing technical issues, providing clear resolutions, and managing multiple support requests effectively. 

  • Data Management Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to monitor, analyze, and ensure the accuracy of data. 

  • Customer Relationship Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with retailers. 

  • Attention to Detail: Strong data management skills to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency in system integrations. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • This full-time role will be based out of The Parable Group’s San Luis Obispo office.
